I solve problems through design.

After a winding path through mechanical engineering, architectural acoustics, and software development, I've settled into my passion for designing experiences that solve real problems. I have spent the last 10 years working together with clients on team leadership, product strategy, user research, prototyping, building digital experiences, and making it all fun.

Why Design?

Design provides the perfect medley of creation, problem solving, and people. It's not about being right, but rather about exploring and learning. A designer finds answers through the world around them, and brings that world to their team.

What is your Design superpower?

Storytelling. Even the best of ideas will go nowhere without a memorable story to carry them.

What would you rather your superpower be?

Time travel. It's the ultimate way to explore (and the ultimate undo button so long as you avoid any paradoxes).

What kind of designer are you, anyway?

One that doesn’t put too much stock in the typical boundaries between different disciplines. We'll go with "experience designer" for now.

What's on your mind these days?

Design ethics. The things we create change the world. It's important that we consciously make those changes for the better.
