“Prototyping At Scale: Designing Future Cars!”
Most designers have experience with prototyping. But how often do you see physical prototypes? And how often are they the size of a car? We hosted a workshop to run folks through the fun of working on prototypes at real-life size & scale. Attendees worked with a full size foam model of a car, some fun craft supplies, and a lot of creativity. They were able to experience and practice rapid prototyping using simple, low-fidelity materials as a way to explore design, externalize their thinking, and simulate experiences. - SXSW

“Using Technology and Service Design to Enhance the Relationship Between Dog and Owner”
Building an internet connected product is complex, and requires collaboration across disciplines and teams, all while having a customer-centered design focus. In this case study session, we recounted how we applied a customer experience and service design methodology to keep human (and pet) experience at the core of the design and development process to create a product that customers love.

“Rapid Prototyping Connected Devices and Experiences”
Connected health products hold tremendous promise. But creating products people love goes beyond technology. In this hands-on workshop, we applied design thinking to help healthcare technologists rethink how they approach product design. By using three lenses — product strategy, product as a service, and behavioral change — we explored how connected products can help to drive meaningful health and wellness outcomes. - Connected Health
